Nos Marées Film
Available to watch now!
Happy new moon and solar eclipse day! I’m, finally, publicly releasing Nos Marées—a fifty minute film I made earlier this year in coastal France alongside the only actor in the film, Laura Tinel. We had no funding or investment, no team of people to help during filming or in the editing phase following, no fancy costumes or private locations, and no high tech equipment (it’s filmed entirely with one camera)—we simply wanted to make something raw, to complete a vision I had in my head for years after going through personal struggle. I can safely say, it happened, we made that film. I went in with low expectations and I’m proud of what we created. After nearly nine years of these scenes building in my mind, they are finally out. Today is both a metaphoric and physical release.
So what is this film about? Here is the synopsis: Drawn to a precipice, a woman confronts the absurdity of her existence by retracing the moments that led her there. Nos Marées (Our Tides) unfolds in suspension, inviting the viewer into a liminal space between life and death.
It’s about the ebbs and flows of our lives, our daily struggles, the absurdity of living—our tides. I hope you spend time with it, and truly take it in. It’s nothing fancy, it’s more of a meditation than anything, however it’s something real. It won’t connect with all, but it will destroy a few. Perhaps you will be one of the few.
If you don’t want to view it, please consider sharing it with someone you feel may enjoy it. If you view it and love it, please share. I would love to make more films and perhaps this can land in front of the right person. If you view it and dislike it, thank you for your time. And of course, I’d love to know what you think regardless.

Note: the film contains nudity, nothing severe, and also references suicide.
Lastly, I’d like to thank Laura for spending nearly two weeks with me making this come to life, you were the perfect choice. Also, Chloe Berzins for taking my horrid script and making it more poetic, and Patrick Alex for helping me create several of the film posters.
