Opening Act.
A "kind of" series, but not truly. More like the creative freedom that stems from having one's own space.
I recently made a large decision in my life. I’ve been keenly aware of a feeling, a shift of something big, and decided to pay closer attention to it. I’ve been seeking my own space to create in for a while, just casually searching, and the universe delivered what seems to be one of the only few positive events in my life since last November. I now have my own studio space— to photograph and paint in, and while financially scary, I am happy.
There are plans in place for curated gallery shows, workshops, and more. But for present time, I’m just enjoying complete flexibility and privacy in a space I can call my own. So, what does one do when they get their own space to create in? Immediately use it, of course. Here are several photos from the sessions of creativity with my good friend, and always willing model, Abby.
Lastly, if you’re somewhat local to me (Boulder, CO.) and want to learn more about the space, use it, or even model for me, please go here for more information.
congratulations!
Insanely beautiful work as always!
