Shared Perspective: A Call for Collaboration
A slight shift in creative strategy, starting in 2025.
2024 has been a difficult year for me. I've had to cancel a residency, multiple series, travel plans, and much more—all due to ongoing health issues. However, there is hope, I think. We believe we've finally pinpointed the root of my body's cycle of struggle, and for the first time in a while, I may have answers. Staying positive has never been something I excel at, but I’m giving it a shot.
Looking ahead to 2025, I’m shifting my approach to photography and creativity. Although I managed to complete several series this year, they were all created within a short, three-month window when I felt capable, and only one of them was outside my local area. Even then, it was only half the series, and within driving distance. I didn’t push myself nearly as much as I wanted to, mostly because I couldn’t.
Next year, I’m determined to be far more intentional with my work. I plan to create not only photographs but also paintings from my collaborations, and I’m not limiting myself, within reason of course, geographically. If the right collaboration presents itself outside the U.S., I’m prepared to make it happen.
So, here’s the point of this newsletter: I’m seeking models, as well as other creatives, for collaboration—people both in the United States and around the world who are passionate, committed, and eager to be a genuine part of the creative process. I want someone who wants to work with me, someone who shares the vision and is excited to collaborate. Together, we’ll create multiple art pieces, and if all goes well, aim for a gallery show to showcase what we’ve achieved. And, of course, if you’re modeling, you’ll be compensated for your time if you desire—I value the commitment and understand the amount of effort it requires.
Consider this newsletter an open call. If you’re interested in collaborating, simply reply or send me an email or visit me on Instagram and send a message there. If you know someone who might be a good fit, feel free to share their info with me or pass this message along. Lastly, any support in spreading the word is deeply appreciated—share this post with anyone who might be interested. I truly appreciate your time and support.

My Substack is currently free, and will remain free, however I am now offering a member plan which will give you early access to full series releases, discounts and early access to all artwork and print releases, additional behind the scenes photos and video, and access to private group discussions. It’s just a small way to support me in doing what I love. And again, my free plan will always be available as it’s important to me to be able to share what I create with everyone. Nothing changes for you unless you’d like it to. If you’d like to become a member, just click the button below…
