The 'Catharsis' Series Alternates

A select group of alternate photos that didn't make the final 2022 series.

After completing the necessary sessions for the ‘Catharsis’ series in 2022, I ended up with many more photographs than anticipated. It was a series that took quite some time to create, needing (if I recall correctly) seven sessions to complete over a period of four months. I also experimented with a few different films (not something I generally do) which led to an abnormally large amount of photographs to choose from. Quite often, a good photograph is left out of a series. Not because of it’s quality, but because it didn't mesh with the others, or it was too similar to another in the final group.

The following photographs (most never shown before) are those alternates; photographs I was attracted to and thoroughly enjoyed, but didn’t make the final cut.
